    I love that you used a Mont Blanc to begin your blog. I’ve used the same Mont Blanc for over 20 years. I currently found a place (Swisherpens.com) that sell gel ink cartridges for the ballpoint MB pen. Such things give me incredible joy.

    Hi Barry, I’d say you definitely belong among the stationery nuts :)

    MontBlanc pens are certainly something to get excited and passionate about; for me they are the ultimate in inky luxury. A Mont Blanc isn’t something I can get on my student income, but as soon as I have a proper income, I’m so getting one. Possibly two: a ballpoint and a fountain.

    I’m crazy about pens. I’m crazy about pencils. I’m crazy about the different calibers of mechanical pencil leads you can access.

    I find so much joy in back-to-school shopping that I’d probably do it even if I wasn’t a student, just to have fresh pencils and felt-tips and erasers.

    I confess, not many things make me as happy as pen and paper. I write all the time and mail more than 400 personal letters/notes a year. Putting pen to paper is pure joy.
