“Caveat emptor” (buyer beware) applies at the dollar store. I’ve bought adorable pens that were too dry once I tried to use them.
Still, trying out purchases from the dollar store is the cheapest form of gambling that I can think of. Plus, you come home with something.
That’s my thinking as well! Sometimes the consumer itch is too overwhelming, and if a plain old rollerball can satisfy it, you’re less likely to go broke
